British Reporter Gets Pranked With A 'Drop Bear' (Carnivorous Koala)
January 13, 2020
A British reporter who's covering the Australian bushfires was asked to wear an armored suit for her first encounter with a "drop bear" -- a carnivorous animal that drops from the trees and attacks those who dare to walk underneath.
Veterinary officer Garnett Hall explained that the animal was similar to a koala but was "really vicious" and sported menacing poisonous fangs.
Reporter Debi Edward is then handed the "drop bear" - or harmless koala - and is visibly terrified of what it might do to her.
In times of tragedy, sometimes humor is the best medicine.
