A man in Cape Coral rescued an exhausted dog that got trapped in a canal near his home.
The owners of the dog were on vacation at Disney World when the dog slipped out of his harness on the sitter's watch.
"From what we could tell, she was definitely tired. She was caught in the mangrove roots and probably wouldn't have made it much longer."
