Baby Hears For The First Time And Breaks Out Into Fit Of Laughter
January 16, 2019
Little Scarlet was born three months early and ended up getting NEC (a stomach infection) and the antibiotics that she needed caused hearing loss.
"It has been a LONG and emotional experience," her mother Carol, said.
The 11-month-old was fitted with hearing aids and the family tested them this week for the first time.
"Hearing aids make a WORLD of difference! I am so blessed and thankful for Atlanta Hearing Associates in Milledgeville for all that they have done for our baby girl," Carol wrote on Facebook. "Anyway, enjoy one of the absolute best days of our lives. By the way, I'm crying, you're crying, everyone is crying."
