November 26, 2017

This is footage from 1970 of Elton John rehearsing a new song that his friend Bernie Taupin had written about his girlfriend. "Tiny Dancer" was released two years later on Elton's fourth album, Madman Across the Water  and the rest is history.

Watching Elton talk through his plans for the song is incredible to watch.
