Mugsy, a 4-year-old Jack Russell, was hit by a car outside his house. His owner, Glenn, realized what had happened and ran outside to find Mugsy bleeding on the concrete. He picked up the pup and watched him pass away in his arms.

Glenn didn't hear a heartbeat, so he buried Mugsy in the backyard and told his children the heartbreaking news later that day. However, the next morning, Glenn heard scratching at the door. The family could not believe their eyes.
