Syrian Man Is Overcome With Emotion When He Realizes The Baby He Rescued Is Alive

The man in the video, Abu-Kifah, is a member of the White Helmets, a Syrian Civil Defense volunteer team. They are often the first on the scene for moments like this.

Abu-Kifah said he dug for hours to free the infant from the rubble. The baby was initially unresponsive and then began to cry. Abu-Kifah's reaction says it all.
