He Planted A Tree In The Desert Every Day For 37 Years. The Result Is Incredible

Since 1979 Majuli islander Jadav Payeng has been planting trees every day in order to save his island. To date he has single-handedly planted a forest larger than Central Park. His forest has transformed what was once a barren wasteland, into a lush oasis.
