This Little Girl's Meeting With Gal Gadot Shows Why Wonder Woman Matters

July 27, 2017

Footage from San Diego's Comic Con shows Gal Gadot comforting a young fan who was wearing a "Wonder Woman" outfit.

The little girl was so happy to meet Gal that she began to cry when she reached the front of the line.

"There's no reason to cry, all right," Gal says as she grabs the little girl's hand. "Here we are together."

"You're a warrior," added Gal's Justice League co-star Ezra Miller. "Your ability to cry is what makes you such a warrior. Come join the Justice League whenever you get ready."

"These characters matter and can have a huge influence on young people," the little girl's mother, Christine Keller, wrote on Facebook. "What a great role model and genuine, nice person. My daughter will always remember this moment for the rest of her life."

In the same video clip, a young boy is seen in tears as he takes a photo with Ben Affleck, who plays Batman in the upcoming film.
