Trey Parker Won An Academy Award In 1992 For This Animated Short On American History

When Trey Parker (South Park) was in college, he won a Student Academy Award by recording his roommate talking about American History for five minutes, and then making an animated short around his dialogue. His roommate was Japanese, spoke broken English, and barely knew American history.
