This Is Why You NEVER Leave A Child In A Car While Shopping

August 4, 2015

A handful of shoppers came together to save a little girl who was left in a hot car while the mother went shopping in Costco.

According to Rafael Rodriguez - the man who uploaded the video - he noticed the little girl in the Toyota Sienna during the heatwave New Jersey endured last week. "The child was hot and sweaty and crying" when he noticed her, according to the news. He failed at his attempt to pry the window open, however police arrived moments later and retrieved the child after breaking the glass.

The boy was taken to Hackensack University Medical Center for evaluation and precautionary treatment for dehydration, and later was released to his father's custody. The mother, Lim-Kim, was charged with endangering the welfare of a minor.
