This Sea Lion Had No Interest in Watching the Canoe Race. He Joined It

During a team canoe race in Monterey, California, the competitors got an unexpected passenger when a sea lion suddenly leaped onto their six person racing boat.

The hilarious moment was captured by a camera mounted on the vessel as the surprised racers burst into laughter. After a few stunned seconds, one paddler summed up what everyone was thinking:

"That just happened."
