Mom Diagnosed With Terminal Cancer While Pregnant Shares Emotional Dance With Daughter 3 Years Later
May 29, 2026
A mother who was diagnosed with terminal cancer while pregnant is touching hearts around the world after sharing a powerful video celebrating a milestone she once feared she’d never reach.
After welcoming her baby girl at 35 weeks, the mom faced treatments, uncertainty, and heartbreaking questions about how much time they would have together. But through every appointment and every battle, her daughter stayed right by her side.
Now, three years later, the emotional video shows the two dancing together on her daughter’s third birthday — a moment doctors once believed was highly unlikely.
@_thehardmans Being diagnosed with terminal cancer whilst pregnant was something I never imagined hearing…but in the midst of the fear and uncertainty, there was her. ❤️ At 35 weeks, my beautiful little girl arrived. She was perfect, healthy, and full of life. But as I held her, my mind raced. How long will I get to be her mum? How many moments will we share? She’s been by my side through it all. Every treatment, every appointment, every battle. And today, 3 years on, on her 3rd birthday…we danced together again ❤️ A milestone I was once told was highly unlikely I’d reach. My love for her knows no boundaries, and I plan to make the most of every moment we have together 🥰 Here’s to many more years of dancing ❤️ #TheHardmans #StrengthInAdversity #MetastaticBreastCancer #CancerAwareness #MiracleBaby ♬ original sound - The Hardmans
