Hiker Hears Faint Cries, Finds Ram Stuck Deep in Mud

What started as a simple hike turned into an unforgettable animal rescue after a woman discovered a ram trapped deep in muddy bog land near a river.

While hiking, the woman said she heard a faint “baa baa” and followed the sound until she spotted the exhausted sheep stuck in thick mud and unable to escape on its own.

Using the ram’s horns, she carefully managed to pull the animal free from the bog before leading it into the river to wash off the heavy muck covering its body.

“I washed the sheep in the river to get the heavy muck off,” she shared on TikTok.

After getting the ram back onto dry land, she waited while it slowly regained its strength. Eventually, the sheep was able to stand, walk away, and reunite with its flock.

“A hike I will never forget,” she wrote. “Thankfully the sheep is ok.”
