One unexpected shoutout from Ryan Gosling turned a small bakery owner’s world upside down, in the best way possible.

While appearing on Late Night with Seth Meyers to promote his new film Project Hail Mary, Gosling paused mid-interview after spotting a woman he recognized backstage. That moment led to a spontaneous and heartfelt endorsement that would soon change a small business owner’s life overnight.

Gosling shared that the woman brought him homemade pop tarts from a bakery, something he clearly hadn’t forgotten. After confirming he had the details right, Gosling gave a full-on shoutout to The Cake Shop in Tallahassee.

“They make the most incredible pop tarts,” he said. “You have to order these pop tarts.”

Within hours, the bakery was overwhelmed with attention.

“I did not know that was coming. It was a total shock. I was blown into another universe,” bakery owner Linda Richards said.
