Police Try To Escort A Turkey Off The Road… The Turkey Immediately Chooses Violence
March 6, 2026
Police officers in Georgia recently responded to an unusual call that turned into a moment of pure comedy.
The Cobb County Police Department shared a hilarious video showing officers attempting to move a very stubborn turkey off a busy road on Milford Church Road after reports that the bird was blocking traffic.
The feathery suspect, later identified as Henry, was apparently not interested in cooperating.
According to the department, Henry was “less than cooperative and definitely not friendly” toward the officer who tried to gently guide him off the road.
Instead of waddling away like most animals would, Henry stood his ground — turning the simple task into a surprisingly funny standoff.
The officers on scene couldn’t help but laugh as the turkey repeatedly challenged their efforts to clear the road.
Sharing the moment online, the department wrote: “If you need a laugh today, this video will do it.”
