Giant Sea Serpent Appears On Cabo Beach

What started as a relaxing beach day in Cabo quickly turned into something the sisters will never forget.

Out in the distance, they noticed something strange flashing in the shallow water. At first, they questioned what they were seeing.

"It was something out of a science fiction movie," Monica said. "I just remember thinking is this real?"

Struggling near the shoreline were oarfish — a rare deep-sea species that almost never appears near the surface. Seeing even one oarfish is extraordinarily rare.

Seeing two in the same place? Almost unheard of.

Monica, along with a few other beachgoers, carefully guided the fish back into deeper water — then stood in awe as the two rare creatures swam off side by side into the blue.
