This Family Built A Colorful Igloo And It’s Magical
February 4, 2026
If you need proof that winter can be magical, this is it.
One creative family took a classic snowy day activity and turned it into something truly unforgettable — a rainbow igloo that looks like stained glass.
The video shows how the parents built the igloo as a surprise for their child, using a surprisingly simple idea and a whole lot of creativity. Instead of plain ice, they froze dozens of blocks of water in five different colors, using everyday pans as molds.
Once the blocks were ready, they stacked them outside during a snowstorm, carefully building a full igloo piece by piece. The result? A cozy, glowing structure made entirely of colorful ice — part snow fort, part art installation.
Best of all, the project wasn’t about perfection — it was about creating a moment. A moment of wonder. A moment of childhood joy. And a memory their child will likely never forget.
