Shoppers in Mexico couldn’t help but smile when they noticed a stray dog inside a store who had clearly found something he loved — a toy he absolutely refused to let go of.

A bystander’s video shows store employees gently trying to take the toy back as the pup holds on tight, making it very clear he just wanted to play. The moment quickly drew attention from other shoppers, who watched as the determined dog clutched his prize.
Seeing how happy the pup was, a group of shoppers stepped in and decided to buy the toy for him. Toy in mouth and tail likely wagging, the once-homeless dog walked away happier than ever.
But the story didn’t end there.
The video quickly went viral — and the very next day, the sweet pup was adopted.
According to The Herald, the dog was adopted by a man named Alan, who described him as “a little mischievous” but “very affectionate.”
