He Was Being Mocked For Wearing The Wrong Jersey — So A Stranger Bought Him The Right One

What started as a few playful jokes at a Detroit Lions game turned into a moment this young fan will never forget.

As he walked past a row of fans wearing a Detroit Pistons jersey, the group teased him for being at the “wrong” game — and everyone laughed, including him. The boy explained that he didn’t own a Lions jersey yet, so he wore the only Detroit gear he had.

One woman in the crowd, Heather Machemer, asked who his favorite Lions player was. Without hesitation, he pointed to her shirt and said, “Gibbs.” It just so happened that Jahmyr Gibbs was her favorite player too.

"I looked at my husband and said we have to go buy him a jersey," Heather shared. "When we got back to give it to him, I had no idea the lady behind us recorded this exchange. Such a cool moment."
