Chef Surprises His Friend With A Unique Dish From Her Homeland. Her Reaction Says It All

A Bay Area chef named Sean recently decided to surprise his friend with something extra special — a sweet taste of home.

His friend, who is from Iran, mentioned that she missed a traditional pastry called Shirini Danmarki — a buttery, flaky treat that’s hard to find outside of her homeland. Sean had never even heard of it before, but that didn’t stop him from trying.

He researched the recipe, got to work in the kitchen, and presented her with a beautiful homemade batch.

Her reaction? Absolutely priceless.
