A Santa Cruz surfer named Isabella had an unexpected run-in at a popular surf spot when an aggressive otter decided to crash her session.

“All of a sudden I feel this like nip on my foot and I’m like, okay, that’s not good,” Isabella said — which might be the understatement of the year.

The feisty otter then climbed onto her board and... refused to give it back.
