Bonobo Mom Gives Her Baby Raspberries — And It’s Adorably Human
October 23, 2025
The Cincinnati zoo shared a heart-melting clip of Kesi, one of their bonobos, playfully giving her baby Daisy raspberries — just like a human parent would!
The sweet moment is as funny as it is touching, showing the deep affection these gentle apes have for one another.
“We’re constantly amazed by the way our bonobo troop cares for each other—especially when it comes to raising little ones,” the zoo wrote. Bonobos practice alloparenting, meaning that “aunties,” siblings, and even unrelated group members all help care for the babies.
It’s a tender reminder that love and care for family—whether furry or human—transcend species.
