At Broulim’s Fresh Food in Mollad, Idaho, grocer Richard Broulim was unloading packages when he was called up to the front of the store. What he witnessed next quickly turned into a moment he’ll never forget.

Amid the crowd of high school students grabbing lunch, a woman with two wads of cash resting on her cart began quietly circling near the deli. With a smile, she offered to pay for their meals, telling them she simply wanted to "do some good in this world."

But one student's response left everyone in tears.

“What he did next left a big impact on me,” Broulim said.

After his meal was covered, he lingered in the store, walked over to the flower section and purchased a dozen roses for the kind stranger. He handed them to her, thanked her, and then left the store.

"What he doesn't know is she puts her face on her hands and starts bawling," Broulim said. "She said out loud, 'I haven't received flowers since my husband died'."

Broulim was so moved that he shared the heartwarming moment on Facebook:
