Every parent knows the power of the look — and apparently, that includes hippos too.

In a hilarious and adorable video shared by Tanganyika Wildlife Park in Kansas, baby hippo Mars made it crystal clear she wasn’t ready to leave the pool. Staff members tried coaxing her out, but Mars wasn’t having it. She splashed, she lingered, she refused.

That’s when Mom stepped in.
