Kids Say Goodbye To Their Favorite Garbage Collectors In The Sweetest Way

September 1, 2025

A mom recently shared a touching video of her two young children meeting the crew that comes by their home each week.

With the county switching to automatic trash bins next month, her kids will no longer get to see their favorite workers twice a week.

In the clip, her little girl greets one of the collectors with a drink, a small gesture of thanks.

The kindness didn’t stop there.

He returned the favor with gifts for the kids, including a mini safety vest to match his own uniform.

It was a simple exchange, but it captured the best of humanity: kindness, connection, and the joy found in everyday friendships.
