Teen With Cerebral Palsy Brings Crowd To Their Feet With Inspiring Walk Across Stage

In Evansville, Indiana, an entire high school erupted into cheers as 18-year-old Avery Haynie, who has cerebral palsy, walked across the graduation stage to receive his diploma.
The powerful moment, captured on video by Christina Bartley, shows Avery rising from his wheelchair, shaking hands with his teachers at North High School, and proudly accepting his certificate before sitting back down.
His mom, Amanda Haynie, shared the clip on TikTok with a message that says it all: “Never been more proud of this kid. Congratulations, Avery!”
