Boy Notices Service Dog At Restaurant — Gives Him A Movie To Watch
August 23, 2025
Maia, who is visually impaired, was out at a restaurant with her guide dog Laurie and a friend when something unexpected happened. A little boy in the booth behind them got up, walked over, and placed his iPad in front of Laurie.
On the screen? The Cat in the Hat.
He then quietly returned to his seat, leaving Maia stunned by the sweetness of the moment. She later shared the story on TikTok, where people couldn’t get enough of the boy’s thoughtful idea to make sure Laurie had some entertainment too.
