When a family adopted a timid stray dog they named Atlas, they knew it would take time for him to adjust.
What they didn’t expect was his adorable coping mechanism—turning his crate into a cozy hoarding den.

Too frightened to leave the safety of his kennel, Atlas began collecting toys, blankets, and anything he could find, dragging them back into his crate.
The family shared a video of him dragging items into his crate and it quickly went viral.
Though he still hasn’t ventured far, his new family is meeting him with endless patience and love. They know trust takes time—and when Atlas is ready, he’ll realize he’s finally home.
