A stunning performance of “Cornfield Chase” from the movie Interstellar is giving people goosebumps and moving some viewers to tears.
Organist Anna Lapwood took to the keys inside Germany’s most visited landmark, Cologne Cathedral, and delivered a beautiful rendition of the iconic Hans Zimmer composition. The setting couldn’t be more fitting—the cathedral, with its towering Gothic architecture and centuries-old acoustics, began construction in 1248 and wasn’t completed until 1880.
A fan captured the moment and shared the video online, and it’s quickly captivating hearts around the world. The sound of Zimmer’s music echoing through one of Europe’s most majestic cathedrals is something truly unforgettable.
