A heartwarming moment was captured on video at Brookfield Zoo in Chicago, Illinois—a bottlenose dolphin gave birth, and zoo staff were there to film the incredible event.
According to zoo officials, the newborn calf is estimated to weigh between 33–37 pounds and measures about 45–47 inches long. Both mom and baby appear to be doing well, and the footage has left viewers amazed by the beauty of nature.
