A dramatic and heartwarming rescue unfolded in Westlake, Ohio, when police officers came to the aid of a tiny fawn trapped in a backyard soccer net.
The Westlake Police Department received a call from a concerned resident who discovered the baby deer tangled in the netting. Neighbors had tried to help, but the mother deer stood close by, too protective to let anyone near her baby.
