He Cuddles With Cheetahs Every Night — And They Trust Him Like Family

May 30, 2025

It’s not every day you hear about someone who shares a bed with big cats — but for Dolph C. Volker, it’s just another night.

A lifelong animal advocate with a degree in Zoology, Dolph has spent years observing and studying animals, driven by a deep fascination with their behavior. But it was the cheetah — elegant, vulnerable, and often misunderstood — that truly captured his heart.

Dolph has dedicated his life, energy, and personal resources to cheetah conservation. During past volunteer work, he formed an extraordinary bond with three cheetahs, raising them from a young age. The trust and love they’ve built together is nothing short of remarkable.

Now, he sleeps beside them every night — or at least, he tries to sleep. “I don’t get much sleep,” he admitted with a smile.

But the lack of rest doesn’t bother him. For Dolph, these nights spent curled up next to his feline companions are sacred.
