May 8, 2025
During a routine patrol near Oregon City, State Trooper Aaron Allemann made an unexpected stop—not for speeders, but for a family of ducks in need. A mother duck and her ducklings were attempting to cross a bustling three-lane freeway when Trooper Allemann spotted them.
Realizing the danger, he quickly intervened, halting traffic and gently guiding the feathered family to safety. A commuter captured the heartwarming moment on video, showing the trooper carefully herding the ducks off the road.
