For Charlotte, who lives with a rare and severe form of muscular dystrophy known as LGMD2C, life presents daily challenges. But recently, she experienced a moment of pure joy that lit up her world.

Her parents had a beautiful surprise in store—Howie, a mobility assistance puppy who will be trained to support Charlotte’s unique needs. While she knew Howie was coming someday, she had no idea the big day had finally arrived.
