High School Students In South Africa Go Viral With Coordinated Performance From The Stands
April 30, 2025
A high school sports event in South Africa turned into a full-blown celebration of music, color, and school spirit — all thanks to an incredible performance by students in the stands.
At Curro High School’s inter-school sports day, students created a “mass group performance” that wowed the crowd. Wearing coordinated, brightly colored shirts, they sang and danced from the stands to a medley of feel-good songs like “Can’t Stop the Feeling,” “Under the Sea,” “Hakuna Matata,” and “Holding Out for a Hero.” The show even included popular quotes from Finding Nemo.
Tania Page, who shared the video to Instagram, captured the moment perfectly: “Today was a true goosebumps moment at Curro High School’s inter-school sports event, with the Spirit Cup opening setting the tone for an unforgettable day.”
