This Nervous Pup’s Owner Found The Sweetest Way For Him To Stop Barking In Fear

April 28, 2025

When Mojo and his sister Lilly moved into their new neighborhood, Lilly quickly made friends — but Mojo was a little more nervous. Unsure around new people, Mojo would bark at everyone passing by his house.

To help him overcome his fears, Mojo’s human had a brilliant idea: they put out a sign and a bucket of balls, inviting neighbors to play fetch with him.

Within just one hour, a neighbor stopped to toss a ball with Mojo — and everything changed.

“It’s worked so well and the neighborhood loves it,” his owner said. “He no longer tries to chase the mailman either. He brings him a ball and puts his front two paws on the fence, waiting for pets and for him to throw the ball.”

Thanks to a little creativity and a lot of heart, Mojo is now making friends — one game of fetch at a time.
