Canaan James Hill, just 17 years old, took the American Idol stage—and the nation—by storm with his powerful performance of “I Need Your Glory.” His soul-stirring voice moved the judges deeply, especially Lionel Richie.
"That was powerful," Richie says after the performance. "You have been so blessed."
Canaan’s emotional delivery earned him a standing ovation and the coveted Platinum Ticket, sending him straight past the first round of Hollywood Week.
