A high school senior in Ohio gave his 89-year-old great-grandmother a night to remember—by taking her to prom.
Austin, a star football player, learned that his great-grandmother Dolores had never been to a prom. "She mentioned to me that she had never been to prom, that she never had the money or opportunity to go before," he shared.
Determined to change that, Austin made her his date.
It’s been more than 70 years since Dolores was in school, but this night was filled with smiles, dancing, and a lifetime memory made at last. They even shared a dance to Frank Sinatra's "Dolores", a song her late husband used to sing to her.
