Orphaned Baby Koala Attempts Her First Climb
March 27, 2025
Prepare for your heart to melt!
Little Louise, the orphaned baby koala, has just taken her first climb, and it's as adorable as you can imagine. At just 557 grams, Louise is making tiny but meaningful strides towards learning to move into the branches and eventually into the "kindy trees" in her enclosure.
The team at the rescue shared the sweet moment, celebrating Louise's success. She's still receiving six formula feeds a day and night to help her grow strong. It's a tiny step for Louise, but one huge leap in her journey to becoming a fully independent koala.
