Even as her body grew weak, Doris, an elderly pitbull, never lost her excitement for the one she loved most.

In a touching video, Doris greets her owner with pure joy—her tail wagging as much as her aging frame would allow. Though she could no longer manage a full wiggle, her love was unmistakable.

According to her owner, Doris was put down soon after the video was taken. But in her final moments, she reminded us of a simple, beautiful truth: dogs love with their whole hearts, right up until their last breath.
