Cindy The Baboon’s Hilarious And Gentle Response To Food Thieves
February 24, 2025
Cindy the baboon is a true survivor.
Found as an orphan in 1994, she was taken in by Ruben Namibia and his family, where she’s been loved and cared for ever since. Cindy has become a beloved member of their household, and Ruben regularly shares glimpses of their bond through videos on his social media accounts.
In one particularly heartwarming clip, Cindy shows how she reacts when different creatures try to steal her food.

Now just over 30 years old, Cindy’s health has declined a bit with age. She struggles with arthritis and vision challenges, having become completely blind about a year and a half ago. But with Ruben’s unwavering care, she remains in good hands.
