Before setting off on his boat, Erik was startled by the sound of meowing. Following the sound, he discovered a curious cat that had wandered onto his dock. Instead of turning the cat away, Erik welcomed it aboard, and to his surprise, the feline seemed eager to join him on his fishing excursion.

The pair spent the day together, bonding over the peaceful waters and the thrill of fishing. Since that day, Erik and the cat, now fast friends, have become inseparable.
