Elephant Calf Stuck In Tree Trunk Turns Rescue Into Comedy Gold
December 9, 2024
On October 2, Greg Hall and his group were traveling through Lake Kariba, Zimbabwe, when they stumbled upon a five-year-old elephant calf hopelessly stuck between two tree trunks.

The group quickly sprang into action to help the little one, but what unfolded was more comedy than drama.
The calf, acting like a playful toddler, had a knack for making the rescue mission delightfully challenging. From tugging on ropes to tossing towels with surprising precision, the mischievous elephant kept its rescuers on their toes.
When the team finally managed to free the calf, it expressed its excitement by doing what any happy toddler might do—chasing its rescuers!
