Senior Dog Finishes Last But Wins The Loudest Cheer
October 4, 2024
Everyone loves the underdog.
The wiener dog race at University of California, Davis on Picnic Day is called the Doxie Derby, and it's a popular event that features dachshunds racing across the University Credit Union Center.
This year, the loudest cheers weren’t for the winner, but for a 14-year-old senior dog who stole the hearts of the crowd by crossing the finish line in last place.
