Rescued Baby Beaver In A Tiny Shirt Melts Hearts With Human-Like Squeaks

August 20, 2024

In the heart of Mississippi, where beavers are often considered a nuisance, one tiny survivor named Tulip is defying the odds.

This baby beaver was orphaned after her parents were tragically killed, a common fate for beavers in the area. Alone and vulnerable, Tulip became gravely ill with pneumonia, bumble foot, and a severe skin infection. It seemed unlikely that she would survive, but a dedicated team of wildlife rehabbers, led by Holley Muraco, refused to give up on her.

To protect her fragile skin and help her heal, Tulip was dressed in little shirts, which also aided in the absorption of her medication. A special diet, including bananas prescribed by the vet, helped her gain the calories and nutrients her tiny body so desperately needed.

Prepare for cuteness overload. Viewers can’t help but notice that the little noises it makes sound remarkably like a human baby.
