A maid of honor went above and beyond to fulfill her role, even though she could not make the wedding. She was a little busy... giving birth.

However, she still gave her speech during the reception.

"You didn't think a little bit of childbirth was going to keep me from giving the maid of honor speech at my best friend's wedding, did you?" she playfully quipped, setting the tone for a speech that would be remembered for years to come.
