February 9, 2024
Katelyn Korejko, a spirited 3rd grader with Down Syndrome, loves everything about basketball.
Throughout the season, Katelyn had been diligently playing the game she loves, yet the elusive point on the scoreboard had remained just out of reach.
A recent game marked a turning point in Katelyn's basketball journey. In a moment that radiated pure joy, she made her first basket of the season.
"To the parents of Jersey 00.. We ALL need to publicly THANK YOU, that little girl is being raised RIGHT," one commenter wrote.
