The video, presented by Zoological Wildlife Foundation, has quickly become a viral sensation, capturing the hearts of viewers worldwide.
The baby capybara has been officially named "Eve," after the zoo received scores of suggestions from the community.
"[She] arrived to us at the foundation on Christmas Eve, so it was only fitting, and one of our supporters nailed it by suggesting," Matt Dillon, spokesperson for the Zoological Wildlife Foundation, told NBC News.
