Ted Lasso Stars Reunite, Sing 'Shallow' At Charity Event

November 14, 2023

Ted Lasso stars Jason Sudeikis (Ted) and Hannah Waddingham (Rebecca) recently stole the show at the annual Thundergong! charity event in Sudeikis' hometown of Kansas City.

The dynamic duo surprised and delighted the audience by delivering a beautiful rendition of "Shallow", from the 2018 film "A Star Is Born".

Prior to Hannah's entrance onto the stage, Sudeikis confided in comedian Will Forte, stating, "There is nobody I would rather sing this song with." Despite Forte assuming he would be tackling Lady Gaga's verse, Waddingham playfully approached Sudeikis and comically nudged Forte out of the frame.

Thundergong! is a night of musical performances and loads of laughs as people come together to help uninsured and underinsured amputees get the prosthetic limbs they need – restoring mobility and restoring possibilities.

In the latter part of the evening, Coach Beard made a cameo, and Hannah, in the midst of Jason singing Justin Bieber's "Love Yourself," shaved off his iconic beard.
