100-Year-Old Woman Unboxes The Adidas Sneakers She Inspired

November 13, 2023

Adidas and Unheardof brand have introduced a new sneaker that pays homage to a remarkable source of inspiration – a beloved 100-year-old grandma!

Naomi Phillips is 100 years old (plus 4 months) and inspired a brand new Unheardof shoe, the Adidas Rivalry Lo.

Phil Lipschutz, the founder of Unheardof, drew inspiration for the design from his childhood recollections of his grandmother and her cherished floral couch.

The sneaker incorporates elements such as her preferred flowers, the color she loves most (purple), and her cherished motto, "Always be a good boy."

Watch Naomi unbox the sneakers for the first time.

"This has set a new precedent; I don't care about any shoes that aren't inspired by the designer's grandma and I never will," one commenter wrote.

"First sneaker unboxing that made me cry," another wrote.
